DataJockey provides fundamental financial data of publicly traded companies over an API. Our API offers access to a wide range of data, including market data, estimates, and alternative data for global stock markets. DataJockey is not engaged in rendering legal, accounting, investment advising, or any other professional service. Your use of the API and any content, information, or data accessed through the API is at your own risk. We do not guarantee or make any warranties about the accuracy or completeness of any content, information, or data accessed through the API. Some content, information, or data may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular purpose.

Intellectual Property

Using the DataJockey API does not grant you ownership or a license to any intellectual property rights, including trademarks or service marks, associated with the API or any content, information, or data accessed through the API, including data obtained from third-party sources.

Data Accuracy

DataJockey strives to provide accurate, complete, and timely information. However, the data available through the API, including financial data, market data, estimates, and alternative data, is provided "as is" and without any warranty or representation of accuracy, timeliness, or completeness. DataJockey does not warrant that the data will be error-free and assumes no responsibility for inaccuracies. Users are encouraged to verify the data before making any decisions based on it. DataJockey shall not be liable for any actions taken in reliance on the data. All data obtained through the API must be deleted if your subscription to that data ends.

Redistribution Rights and Personal Use

You hereby agree not to redistribute or share access to the data or any derived results obtained from the DataJockey API with anyone or any third party without written approval from DataJockey. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the available plans, all plans listed on the DataJockey website are strictly for personal use and not for commercial use. Personal plans cannot be used by any business, even internally, without written approval.

Plan-Specific Usage Rights:

Free and Pro Plans:

  • Personal use only
  • No redistribution rights
  • Cannot use data in commercial applications
  • Cannot share data with third parties

Business Plan:

  • Can use data in your applications and services
  • Limited monthly end users as specified in plan
  • Cannot resell raw data as a standalone product
  • Cannot create a competing financial data API
  • Must integrate data into your own value-added services

Enterprise Plan:

  • Custom usage rights as specified in your agreement
  • Custom end user limits
  • Custom integrations and deployments

You are not eligible for any personal use plans if you fall into ONE of the following categories:

  • You are a securities professional registered with FINRA, SEC, CFTC, or relevant regulatory bodies.
  • You are using this data for your business or registering under your business name, regardless of the industry.
  • You are going to deduct this expense as a business expense.
  • You are using this data in a revenue generating activity.

Pricing and Feature Changes

DataJockey reserves the right to modify pricing, rate limits, end user limits, features, and any other service parameters at any time for any reason. Such changes may include but are not limited to:

  • Monthly or annual subscription prices
  • API rate limits (calls per minute, calls per day)
  • End user limits for Business and Enterprise plans
  • Available data endpoints and features
  • Service level agreements (SLA)
  • Support levels and response times
  • Data retention policies

We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes through email notifications, website announcements, or dashboard notifications. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

For existing subscribers, price changes will typically take effect at the next billing cycle, while feature changes may be implemented immediately or with advance notice as determined by DataJockey.

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for any services provided through this website. Please make sure to cancel your subscription on time if you wish to discontinue the service.

API Limit and Access

Your subscription to our API comes with certain limitations and access restrictions. Please refer to the API documentation for detailed information regarding API limits and access.

Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may collect certain personal information from users, but we will not share it with third parties unless required by law or stated otherwise in our Privacy Policy.
